You can plan your diet accordingly, eating a few medium sized bananas. Bananas are a bland fruit, which are considered for constipating and are a great food for diarrhoea. Rice is another bland and well tolerated and is also found not to cause nausea. Applesauce forms an important part of the BRAT diet, as the creamy consistency of applesauce goes down easily and it contains pectin that helps in stopping of diarrhoea.

It helps the body to soften down the faeces for smoother bowel movements. Soluble fibre present in foods that like legumes, oats, berries, etc. can help diarrhoea by decreasing the speed of food passage from the stomach to the intestine and by giving it a stool form. However foods including carbonated drink, beverages, raw fruits and cruciferous vegetables might trigger bloating and lead to gas as well.

When you plan a healthy diet, the aim behind it is to look good, improve your energy and minimize the risk of getting diseases. This doesn't mean that you need to be perfect, in order to get it done. Moreover, you must also not consider this as getting rid of food that you love. Remember, that every food that you add to your common food is what makes the real diet. With every food that you add to your diet, you should be assured that you are adding a healthy diet and improving your health.
