Going for a swim or for a massage are just some of the methods that people use to relieve themselves of the stress that they are feeling. Of course, these are just a few of the effective methods popular these days. However, there is another method growing in popularity now. This is the float spa San Diego.

This is one of the innovative stress-relief method that people can actually enjoy now. If this is your first time to the said innovative method, then it is better for you to follow some tips to best enjoy the session. For every session you go to, you should pay attention to the following tips to better enjoy yourself.

First, answer the call of nature before you actually go floating. This means that you should go to the restroom right before the session. If you do that, then there is no need for you to get interrupted while you are using the pod. You do not have to go out of the pod just so you can use the comfort room.

The place should then provide you with bath items you need to keep yourself feeling good while you are taking a bath. Most of the spas these days offer soaps and lotions. Some use the standard lavender fragrance but there are those spas that offer varieties to their clients.

Showering should come first before you go straight into the pod. Before you go floating, you have to eliminate any traces of oil, dirt, lotion, and makeup on both your body and hair. You can usually eliminate these contaminants when you shower using the shampoo and shower gel provided to you by the staff.

Put the ear plugs in and then make sure that they are fit snugly. The plugs will cover your ears to prevent water from getting in. If you have cuts, scrapes, and even severely dry skin, you should remember to cover them up to prevent the salt from stinging these areas. You should use the petroleum jelly provided to you.

When you are ready, you should carefully get into your pod. You can pull the lid down with the interior handle right above you. The room for the pods are usually motion sensor so it can detect movement. The personnel will know that you are in your pod when you close the lid. No need to do anything once you are inside.

You can actually take control of the light during the session. You just need to push the black and round button to your left so that you can turn it on or off as you like. You can opt to have it turned off while you are floating. When you turn it off, it will turn on automatically when it is five minutes before your time is up.

There is a black, round button on your right side too. This is the panic button. You will have to press this when there is an emergency so that you can alert the staff that there is something wrong immediately.
